New watch release, Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph UEFA Champions League
The 2020 Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph in a satin-finished and polished blue ceramic case (reference 525.EX.0170.RX.UCL20) marks the collaboration between Hublot and the return of the UEFA Champions League.
The movement — HUB1155 — used is a self-winding chronograph movement with a date window at 6’o clock and comprises of 207 components, 60 Jewels & beats at the high frequency of 4Hz (28’800 A/h) allowing for an okay 42 hour power reserve.
The watch face shows the functions of hours, minutes, seconds, date and a chronograph on a skeletonised and transparent sapphire dial with blackened bridges. The polished rhodium plated appliques contrast well with the sapphire dial with Champions League logo printed at 3’o clock.
The bezel is satin-finished and polished smoky midnight blue ceramic with iconic 6 H-shaped screws in contrasting polished titanium. The crown and chronograph pushers are also in contrasting polished titanium.
The case-back is polished blue ceramic covered with a sapphire crystal insert. The case-back is has “LIMITED EDITION XX/100” engraved and decorated with the UEFA Champions League logo.
It comes on a blue lined rubber strap with a stainless-steel deployant buckle.
The water resistance is an okay – 50m (5ATM) — on this one.

Watch Ya Gonna Do About It?
In terms of use, we would say that the Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph UEFA Champions League is not really a daily wearer, but is definitely a good looking sports watch and the skeletonised dial adds to the uniqueness of this sports watch.
Given it’s 45mm diameter in size and 13.40mm in thickness, it’s not a dress watch and perhaps even too loud for a formal occasion. It is obviously not going to fit perfectly under the cuff for that boardroom meeting.
It can perhaps be worn over with weekend with jeans and t-shirt but would look amazing at a soccer match, where coincidentally it’s inspired by anyway.
Given that these watches are a 100-piece limited edition run, they are sure to become a hot item amongst Hublot & soccer fans.
