Two best luxury watch and car partnerships of 2020

Swiss luxury watch brands release collaborative watches all the time. But there is something truly unique and magical when they partner with a luxury car brand: the resulting designs evoke a sense of grandeur that is unparalleled in any other partnership. Here we are looking at the list of two best luxury watch and car partnerships of 2020.

The year has just started, and the watch brands are slowly rolling out new releases. So far, only two watch collaborations make our list below.

As and when we receive news on more collaborations, we will be updating this article, so keep checking back in.

1. Breitling Premier Bentley Mulliner Limited Edition

In many ways it is an extension of the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible. As suggested by the name, the watch focuses on the Bentley Mulliner workshop, which since 1959 has crafted Bentley’s most unique tailor-made models.

The watch uses a Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01 movement that is COSC-certified. The movement is encased inside a 42mm diameter and 13.65mm thick case. It is comprised of 346 components, beats at the frequency of 4Hz (28’800 A/h), and boasts of an impressive 70 hours power reserve.

Anyone looking to own a piece of Bentley and Breitling in one go should definitely go for this one. In our opinion, for a small price, a Breitling or a Bentley enthusiast can now own a whole lot of luxury right on their wrist.

2. Zenith DEFY 21 Land Rover Edition

While the first collaboration was more of an old-school luxury offering, this next watch collaboration features a watch that is more rugged and stealth in its presentation. It is the result of Zenith watches and Land Rover Defender vehicles manufacturer partnering up to present an original watch design, the Zenith DEFY 21 Land Rover Edition.

For the first time ever within the DEFY 21 series a watch has been given a new & redesigned linear power reserve window display.

The watch uses the famed El Primero 9004 movement that is also TIME LAB chronometer certified. Encased inside a 44mm diameter microblasted titanium case, it is an automatic winding mechanical movement beating at the frequency of 5Hz (36’000 A/h).
