Introducing the new IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Chronograph – Debunking the idiosyncratic idea that the Portugieser only belongs on dress straps
The Pandora’s Box has opened and we have a myriad of new releases from a number of brands that have just been announced as part of the Watches & Wonders 2020
The IWC Portugieser Hand-Wound Monopusher Edition “Laureus Sport for Good” is the latest watch release from the chequered brand that is famed for its ‘form follows function’ design ideology — a specific way of designing that was made famous by the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright — and using advanced American manufacturing methods that are combined with the craftsmanship of Swiss watchmakers.
Today we are introducing the latest watch release, the IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Chronograph. Brands are reworking their existing collections in 2020 — Zenith Elite collection is an example — and IWC is following suit with revamped versions of the iconic Portugieser Chronograph reference IW3716.
