Sneak Peek: Omega Seamaster Co-Axial Diver 300M
The 2019 Omega Seamaster Co-Axial Diver 300M in steel & ceramic (reference: 210.32.42.20.04.001) marks the launch of a new model in the revamped Seamaster 300M range.
The movement — calibre 8800 — used is a self-winding with Co-Axial escapement movement with a date window at 6’o clock and beats at the frequency of 3.5Hz (25’200 A/h) allowing for a decent 55 hour power reserve.
The dial shows the functions of hours, minutes, seconds, and date and on a white ceramic wave motif finished dial. The hour markers are applied, raised, and luminous that contrast well with the white dial and make the watch better for time readability. The bezel is black ceramic with white inlay markers and contrasts well with the dial face and works for people who love to have high legibility on their watches.
The case-back is transparent and decorated with a Rhodium plated finish and Geneva waves in arabesque.
The strap options are two, rubber strap on this model or a steel bracelet (reference 210.30.42.20.04.001), and both come with fold-over extending dive clasps.
The water resistance is an exceptional— 300m (30 ATM) — on this one.

Watch Ya Gonna Do About It?
In terms of use, we would say this white ceramic version is definitely a daily wearer and a damn good looking sports watch.
Given its 42mm diameter in size, it’s not really a dress watch and perhaps even too loud for a formal occasion. It is not going to fit perfectly under the cuff for that boardroom meeting. It can be worn over with weekend with jeans and t-shirt. It would however look amazing at a beach or by the pool.
Given that the watch is not a limited edition model, we would recommend going in to an Omega boutique and trying one on in person to really marvel at its beauty.
