New 2020 Montblanc Heritage Manufacture Pulsograph Limited Edition 100
The new 2020 watch release Montblanc Heritage Manufacture Pulsograph Limited Edition 100 is the highlight of Montblanc’s latest watch releases that feature a very distinctive and charming vintage flair.
As the name (Pulsograph) says, these new timepieces are inspired by watches that the doctors used in the past to check a patient’s heart rate. Also called ‘doctor’s watches’ in collector circuits, this new edition comes at the heels of last year’s Heritage Pulsograph Limited Edition with a salmon-coloured dial.
This brand-new model comes in an 18K rose gold case, measuring 40mm in diameter.
What really sets this apart though is the distinctive smoked tobacco-brown dial and matching Sfumato alligator strap.
Both these reinforce the trendy vintage style Montblanc is so successfully reviving.

This high-end movement is composed of a large balance wheel with 18 screws, a column wheel and horizontal coupling, the iconic V-shaped chronograph bridge whose designed was patented in 1912, and the emblematic hand-decorated Minerva arrow.

This beautiful movement can be seen through the display caseback, where the sapphire crystal reveals the high level of hand-finishing of the Montblanc Manufacture monopusher chronograph.
The watch face shows the functions of hours and minutes in the centre, small seconds at 9 o’clock, chronograph’s elapsed-second hand from the dial’s centre, and a peripheral Pulsometer scale graduated for 30 pulsations.
It is covered by a scratch-resistant, domed box-shaped sapphire crystal with antireflective coating.
The dial is a beautifully elaborate display for visual grandeur.
Featuring domed lacquered smoked tobacco brown-coloured dial with “grainé” hour ring and sun-ray finishes, the dial is a thing of beauty.
The intricate dial face features:

Watch Ya Gonna Do About It?
The new 2020 watch release Montblanc Heritage Manufacture Pulsograph Limited Edition 100 is a stunning dressy-cum-sporty chronograph watch.
The sunken sub-dials and the raised indexes really help elevate the readability of this watch and add a certain welcome depth of 3D to the dial face.
Given that the watches are limited edition, they are something that Montblanc fans, or even people who love vintage watches, should be lining up to buy.
The watch is a daily wearable watch size coming in at 40×12.65mm. It will fit comfortably under the cuff, but given its high-end look, is probably more suited for a formal affair.
The Montblanc Heritage Manufacture Pulsograph Limited Edition continues the journey of the chequered brand into creating vintage inspired pieces with a sense of modernism to them.
